    Centurion is proud to be the NEW provider of healthcare services to the Arizona Department of Corrections.


    We are currently seeking a Site Medical Director to join our Team in Douglas, AZ.


    This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position with Monday-Friday day shift hours. 


    Provide the clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of the assigned site.  Provide direct clinical services for patients.  Provide clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director.  Collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.  Participate in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

    • Documentation of education as MD or DO and completion of accredited residency program required 
    • Current license to practice medicine in Arizona required
    • Board certification - Family or Internal Medicine
    • Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate 
    • Minimum of two years’ experience as a physician in a clinical setting; supervisory experience preferred 
    • Experience in a correctional health setting or institutional setting preferred
