    We are currently accepting applicants for a full-time (40 hours per week) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution in Milton, Florida.  Milton is 25 miles north of Pensacola.

    Position Overview

    This facility provides inpatient and outpatient services. Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for incarcerated offenders. Work under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborate with multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to inmates with mental health problems and psychiatric disorders in a correctional setting.

    Qualifications

    Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners or Clinical Nurse Specialists with:

     

    ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN and or CNS
    Active unrestricted Florida APRN or CNS license
    Active unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
    Prior correctional mental health is highly desired

    Prior inpatient and outpatient mental health experience
    Must receive approval of Centurion Credentialing Review Committee if review requested
    Prior correctional mental health is highly desired
    Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
