    We are currently seeking a Re-Entry Coordinator to join our Team at Everglades Correctional Institution in Miami, FL.  The facility is located at:

    1599 SW 187th Avenue - Take the Turnpike extension to Southwest 8th Street (SR-41). Go west on SR-41 to 187th Avenue (just past Krome Avenue). Turn left on 187th. The institution is approximately ½ mile.


    Our Re-Entry Coordinator will provide release planning for offenders upon their release from the facility. This is based on the determination that mental health services and community resources will be required when the offender is released from corrections.  

    At 180 days prior to the inmate's release, our Re-Entry Coordinator/Aftercare Specialist will begin working with the inmate to provide guidance on where he will go after release.  This person will also assist the inmate in enrolling in social security/disability benefits as needed.



    Shift Availability:

    • Day Shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, M-F

    • Bachelors’ degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution
    • active CPR certification
    • Must be able to pass a background investigation
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in case management or release planning preferred
    • Prior experience in working in a correctional healthcare program, criminal justice, or forensics preferred
