We are currently seeking a part-time Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Uxbridge Drug Court located in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
The Drug Court is a specialty court session designed to improve outcomes for individuals with substance use disorders that are involved in the criminal justice system. The Drug Court is overseen by a presiding Justice who, in partnership with other stakeholders, seeks to assist the individual and the community by emphasizing public safety, individual accountability, and recovery. The Drug Court Clinician (DCC) will report directly to the FHS Supervisor of Specialty Courts who reports to the Director of Forensic Court Clinic Services. These forensic services court clinic contracts are managed by the associated Area Forensic Director of the Department of Mental Health.
Part time, 20 hours per week
The Mental Health Clinician provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
This position will provide support and professional guidance to the drug court participants and provide clinical recommendations to the Drug Court teams. Working closely with probation, who has ultimate responsibility for case management, oversight of court conditions, and reporting to the Judiciary, the drug court clinician will be available to the Drug Court team to consult, advise, and problem solve with team members on cases individually and collectively.

Demonstrated experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, preferably over 3-5 years.
