    Centurion is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. 


    We are currently seeking afull-time Health Information Manager to join our team at the Tennessee Regional Office located in  Nashville, Tennessee.

    Available Shift

    Monday - Friday; Day shift


    The Health Information Manager (HIM) is responsible for planning and directing the collection, compilation, and distribution of data through statistical trending and monitoring staff performance against established productivity standards to maintain efficient systems. This role is also responsible for the monthly reporting cycles and ensuring we remain in compliance with Client requirements. Additionally, the HIM functions as a Regional Trainer for Medical Records and PTRAX and creates dashboards for our leadership team to allow for monitoring key indicators in the delivery of quality healthcare at all sites.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
    • Applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of Degree
    • At least three (3) years’ experience in healthcare field with emphasis in informatics and medical records
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, and PTRAX
    • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of professionals
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
