    Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Arizona Department of Corrections. 

     

    We are currently seeking a full-time Provider Services Representative to join our team at our Arizona Regional Office located in Tempe, Arizona. This person will be required to travel extensively throughout the state of Arizona.

    Responsibilities

    The Provider Services Representative is responsible for building and nurturing positive relationships between community providers and practice managers and our correctional facilities.  This person will perform activities in provider relations, provider correspondence and policy review.  This person will also be responsible for assisting in the full range of provider relations and service interactions including claim management and contract creation.  He/She will negotiate provider contracts as applicable. This person will develop, implement and conduct training and orientation programs as needed for provider staff and will create reports to identify trends and assist in tracking.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field or a Health Science degree is preferred
    • Knowledge of current network management and development requirements and strategies
    • Knowledge of geo-access reporting requirements
    • Familiarity with insurance industry terminology preferred
    • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare in a customer service environment
    • Experience in insurance claims processing and billing preferred
    • Strong computer/technical skills; familiar with commonly used software such as Microsoft Office products
    • Excellent problem-solving and writing skills
    • Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
