We are currently seeking 2 Psychologists at the Regional and Medical Center (RMC) located in Lake Butler, FL. One F/T Inpatient Psychologist to cover 2 units, and one P/T Psychologist, 24 hours a week, to work in Outpatient.
The Reception and Medical Center (RMC) was established in 1968 with two distinct missions; to process new commitment male inmates into the system as well as provide medical care to inmates from all corners of the state. In 1972 a fully licensed 120 bed hospital opened within the secure perimeter of the Main Unit. Through the years the medical mission expanded to include a dialysis and cancer treatment center, also located within the secure perimeter of the Main Unit. In addition, RMC now operates a secure ward at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville.
The Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services including evaluation, treatment, training, & consultation to the inmate population. Psychologist will assess chemical, mental and emotional disorders of individuals through observation, interviews and psychological tests. Will administer programs of treatment in conjunction with members of a multidisciplinary mental health team to patients in a correctional setting.

Current Florida Psychologist License or ability to obtain. Will consider a new grad eligible for a provisional license.
