    We are currently seeking FT and per diem EMT's.

     

    Works under the supervision of RN/LPN

    Completing pre-screening assessments in intake area

    Provides first aid

    Completes vital signs

    Responds to medical emergencies throughout the facility

    Works closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide care to patient population

    Verifies patient medications in the community. 

    Works with law enforcement agencies to gather relevant information regarding arrestees

    Identifies potential high risk arrestees and collaborates with RN to formulate plan of care.

    Responds to mass casualty events.

    Identifies urgent medical needs of arrestees/patients through out facility.

    May assist MD/PA/NP in clinic when needed

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Must have EMT certification
    • Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
