Centurion is growing and we have a newly created opportunity for a Regional VP of Operations to manage our contracts in the West. This individual should live out west and can work from home and travel to the states as needed. Our current business in the west include Arizona and New Mexico.
This individual will be responsible for daily management of financial, clinical, and operational systems of several contracts for services involving medical, mental health and dental. They will have several direct reports and have P&L responsibility for those contracts and will work closely with the client and staff to ensure contract success.
•Assists with revewing and monitoring the daily operations of the medical and mental health program as per our agreement with the client.
Works closely with corporate managmeent as a liaison to clients/contracts on financial and operation issues. Supports Program in contract issue negotiation with various clients
•Works to develop new business opportunities in both existing contracts and potentially new business contracts
•Provides supervision and support to the individual managers.
•Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and management of the medical and mental health contract performance in the region.
•Responsible for regional financial performance
•Oversees development of financial action plans by the individual contract site managers to address variances
•Participates in annual budgeting process
•Negotiates provider contracts
•Reports monthly on the performance of the contract, progress on action plans, pertinent changes affecting the contract, and opportunities for new business
•Counsels and disciplines managers as warranted
•Supervises and evaluates work performance of direct report staff and provides feedback
•Coordinates Human Resources Management with the corporate office and on-site staff
•Recruits professional staff as needed
